LONDON Wednesday 12th June – Horizons casino has reopened following a comprehensive refurbishment that transforms the gaming experience at one of Leicester Square's most prestigious addresses.
Located at 1 Leicester Square in the historic Queen's House, the venue now offers an elevated gaming environment that sets new standards for London's casino landscape and, for the first time, a terrace which can seat up to 65 people overlooking the iconic square.
The extensive renovation has completely reimagined the gaming floor, creating a sophisticated atmosphere that balances the excitement of gaming with luxury hospitality. The refurbishment represents a significant investment in Leicester Square's gaming sector, reinforcing the area's position as a premier destination for discerning players.
Set in the heart of Leicester Square, Horizons Casino is one of the square's oldest gaming establishments, operating for over 35 years. The newly designed space features state-of-the-art equipment within an environment carefully crafted to enhance the gaming experience. With rich dark wood finishes and precision lighting, it creates an intimate yet energising setting.
A standout feature of the refurbishment is the installation of innovative plasma screen technology on the ceiling, which subtly shifts lighting throughout the day. Mimicking natural outdoor light conditions, it creates a unique atmospheric experience which connects to the players natural Circadian rhythms.

The venue's gaming offering is enhanced by the introduction of Skewd, Horizons’ new catering partner. Skewd’s open fire mangal and Anatolian cuisine concept, led by founder and executive chef Maz Demir, adds a distinctive culinary dimension that differentiates Horizons Casino from other London gaming venues.
A private dining room, seating up to 12, is also available for intimate events and corporate entertainment. As part of the new layout, Horizons will be launching the new terrace seating up to 65, which will be home to Skewd at Horizons, a first in the casino’s history, giving guests a vibrant, al fresco experience at one of London’s most iconic hotspots.
With 37 years of continuous operation, Horizons Casino stands as Leicester Square's longest-established gaming venue.
