Atlantic City, NJ (Feb. 20, 2024) –Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City proudly announces its partnership with the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey (AAHMSNJ) to sponsor the first Black History Month Educational Series.
Casino Life Magazine News: The Black History Month Educational Series is a program designed by Mr. Ralph E. Hunter, Sr., President and Founder of the AAHMSNJ, that will bring an entertaining and interactive experience that explores the depth of African American History to three Atlantic City schools in the month of February. The program kicked off on Thursday, Feb. 15 with a visit to the Pennsylvania Avenue School and will continue with visits to Sovereign Avenue School and Texas Avenue School later this month.
In 2022, the resort partnered with Mr. Hunter and the AAHMSNJ to present “Jackie Robinson: Stealing Home and This Little Light of Mine: The Black Church” exhibits, and again in 2023 to present a tribute to the late singer/songwriter, Nina Simone.

In addition to community efforts, the resort is offering a Memorabilia Tour of legendary African American musical artists.
