Grahame Falvey Returns to DRGT™ as Director of Product Management, Driving Innovation and Player-First Design

DR Gaming Technology (DRGT™) is excited to welcome back Grahame Falvey, who re-joins the company in the newly created role of Director of Product Management.

This key appointment follows the recent leadership refresh that saw Marco Herrera step into the role of CEO in September last year, and co-founder Jurgen De Munck take on a more focused role as Executive Chairman, overseeing the company’s Infiniti Casino operations. Grahame’s return is a clear signal of DRGT’s ongoing commitment to innovation, product clarity, and customer-first design.

“Bringing Grahame back into the fold is a big win for us,” said Marco Herrera, CEO of DRGT™. “He brings a sharp product mind, decades of industry experience, and a great understanding of what we’re trying to achieve. He already knows DRGT and our culture, and he’s aligned with our ‘Player First’ approach. We know he’ll hit the ground running. Add to that the fact that we’re no longer just a supplier, but an operator too through our sister Infiniti Group, we  now have something most suppliers don’t have – a real-world testing ground; something I know Grahame will relish.”

Born new Newcastle, New South Wales, Grahame began his career in Australia after graduating with a degree in Applied Science of Computing from the Warrnambool Institute of Advanced Education.

He spent several years designing and delivering large-scale software solutions for Melbourne’s public transport system, including ticketing tools across the city’s train, tram, and bus networks.

“That work really set the foundation for everything I’ve done since,” said Falvey. “It was about scale, reliability, and designing for real-world users. At the time, I never expected to leave Australia, but when the opportunity at Atronic came up, I went for it — and that set me on the path into gaming.”

After moving to Graz in 2001 to join Atronic, Grahame worked in various senior product roles before briefly joining DRGT™ in 2010. His departure in 2011 was driven by family considerations, with frequent travel between Belgium (where DRGT was headquartered) and Austria proving tough.

“I loved the work and the team back then, but the logistics just didn’t work with a young family,” he explained. “Now, with DRGT having a base right here in Graz, and a real-world testing ground through our Infiniti Casino Group, the stars and the timing have finally aligned.”

Since then, Grahame has worked across the casino, VLT, and lottery sectors in Europe and North America, specialising in product ownership, business analysis, compliance, and responsible gaming. His broad view of the market, hands-on development experience, and deep understanding of the player journey make him well-placed to lead DRGT’s product strategy going forward.

“Grahame’s always brought clarity and a user-focused mindset to everything he does,” added Jurgen De Munck, Executive Chairman of DRGT™. “We worked together in Knokke over 15 years ago, and I remember how committed he was; even when living in Austria and flying to Belgium every week. Having him back now, based locally, is a much better fit. We’re thrilled to welcome him home.”

Outside of work, Grahame has a long-standing love for aviation, though he admits private flying in Europe isn’t cheap, he’s channelled that passion into a self-built flight simulator, complete with custom-made controls for an F-16 combat sim.

“Flying and gaming both need precision and process, but also creativity,” he said. “They’re passions of mine, and I’m bringing that same energy into this new role.”

Grahame will operate from DRGT’s Graz office but will be spending the coming months visiting teams and customers across the company’s global footprint. He’ll also be part of the DRGT crew at Booth 4405 at G2E Las Vegas, taking place 7–9 October at the Venetian Expo.
