Bill Healey was fortunate to attend each day of G2E Las Vegas in-person this year, meeting with casino directors and suppliers from around the world. Typically spending most of the past 20 years in Asia -- he was in Las Vegas just as the Covid pandemic started, and had therefore spent much of 2020-2021 in Las Vegas.
Bill mentions that “though some casino leaders and gaming suppliers were unable to make it to G2E due to travel restrictions and issues on shipping equipment, most were present. It was good to see the new technologies provided by companies like SUZOHAPP, SG, IGT, KL Saberi and Interblock. It was a solid showing from casino suppliers from Europe, the Americas and Asia, which makes me believe the upcoming ICE UK will be a blockbuster.”
It has been 18-months since there has been a meet in person amusement trade event in the UK. The CoinOp Show on the 20th & 21st October was hosted this year at the IBIS Hotel’s ILEC Conference Centre West London. Over the years this event has become well established as a great networking event for the gaming industry, given many of the major exhibitors also supply into the Bingo and Casino industry. Peter White comments: “It was a busy show and I enjoyed meeting up with many people whom I havent seen for over 2 years.”
