There's no doubt that Ernest L. Stevens, Jr. is a very worthy recipient."
Chairman Stevens said, "I am very honored to be recognized on the international platform of gaming. This is a recognition I accept on behalf of the tribal leaders who I represent. As the chief spokesperson of the National Indian Gaming Association, I take my direction from the leadership and commitment of the tribal leaders throughout Indian country who work every day towards social and economic prosperity for tribal communities and their citizens." Stevens added, "Tribal government gaming has been vital to achieving so much for tribal communities and beyond. As an industry, we are proud of the fact our professionals in the gaming properties are now the experts on gaming worldwide.
