The huge ball visible atop the tower of the defunct Revel Hotel Casino in Atlantic City seems to disappear into the clouds in the final days of 2014. Revel’s fate still unknown is a monument to an abandoned vision and will remain silent heading into the New Year. It now stands in stark contrast to Atlantic City’s active Casino Marina District across town where this picture was taken at the entrance to the Borgata Hotel & Casino.
