19 December 2014, London, UK (Press Release) The British Poker Awards (www.thebritishpokerawards.com) will return to London's glamorous Hippodrome Casino for a second successive year, organiser Bluff Europe Magazine has confirmed.
The ceremony is set to take place on 23 February, 2015, with the best and brightest of UK poker talent expected to be in attendance. Poker enthusiasts are able to vote until 31 December at www.thebritishpokerawards.com, with categories including Best Online Player and new video category Hand of the Year.
Tickets will be available to purchase from the Hippodrome Website, while five lucky voters will win themselves a pair of seats at the awards ceremony just for taking part in the voting process.
"Last year's British Poker Awards ceremony was a roaring success, and by returning to the Hippodrome we know it will be one of the highlights of the 2015 poker calendar," said.
"We have seen some notable achievements from British players in 2014, and time is running out to vote for your favourites," he added.
The nominees in the 13' Readers Choice awards have been selected by an independent panel of respected figures from across the poker world: PokerNews' Matthew Pitt, PokerStrategy's Barry Carter, CalvinAyre.com's Lee Davy, Ranking Hero's Nicolas Levi, Late Night Poker creator Nic Szeremeta and 'Voice of Poker' Jesse May.
The awards are supported by a range of media partners, including PokerNews, PokerStrategy, CalvinAyre.com, RankingHero, Casino Life Magazine and Lyceum Media.
So far thousands of Bluff Europe readers and poker fans have had their say, and time is running out to crown winners across 16 categories including a special Player's Player of the Year award. Anyone who hasn't cast their vote yet can head on over to www.thebritishpokerawards to have their say.
