Going in for the Skrill at ICE 2014

London, UK – 3 February 2014:  Skrill, one of the world's leading digital payment companies, will be exhibiting at ICE Totally Gaming 2014, held at London’s ExCel Centre from the 4th to the 6th February. Already confirmed as the official payments sponsor of the 2014 ICE Conferences, which runs alongside ICE Totally Gaming, Skrill will be exhibiting at booth N11-240.

Paul Barclay, VP of LET at Skrill comments: "Gaming has been a central part of our history and is a market that remains at the core of much of our business. We already work with the vast majority of the global gaming market and exhibiting at the show, as well as our role as the official payments sponsor, highlights our ongoing commitment to this market.”

The ICE Conferences 2014 are a central part of the overall event, and showcase industry leaders as they discuss the trends and challenges facing the gambling industry. Skrill will be taking part in the following sessions:

  • Wouter Sleijffers, VP marketing services, Skrill, will join a panel to discuss planning and strategies for customer acquisition despite the “unknowns” of online gaming (3pm on Tuesday 4TH February)
  • Mark Carter, VP product - mobile, Skrill, joins the discussion on completing the customer experience with seamless billing and payments (5.10pm on Tuesday 4th February)
  • Paul Barclay, VP LET, Skrill, will analyse how to guarantee payment security across platforms as online payment methods increase (12.20pm on Wednesday 5th February)

“Skrill makes it simpler for online gamblers to manage their funds quickly, safely and easily and is one of Europe's largest online payments systems with 36 million account holders,” says Barclay. “Our worldwide payment network offers businesses access to direct payment processing via 100 payment options in 200 countries and over 40 currencies.

“ICE Totally Gaming is the perfect platform for us to spend time with the merchants and partners who benefit from integrating Skrill's wide range of payment solutions, such as 1-Tap, into their infrastructures.  1-Tap has been designed to streamline the deposit process into one step. By linking to the user’s digital wallet account, 1-Tap makes it significantly easier for players to add funds without having to re-enter their personal details, thereby increasing conversion rates for merchants and providing a smooth user experience for gamers.”

Considered the highlight of the industry calendar, organisers have confirmed that this year’s ICE Totally Gaming event will feature more companies than ever before. Ranging from industry heavyweights to start-ups, over 500 organisations from 57 countries, will exhibit at the show.
