COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (April 19, 2023) – Agua Caliente Casinos, Coachella Valley’s premier casino, entertainment and resort destination with three award-winning properties; Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and Cathedral City, is proud to announce a weekend of planned festivities for Cinco de Mayo.
Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City kicks off the fun on Thursday, May 4, with a Star Wars themed movie screening, May the Fourth Be with You. The planned events include Movie Night in the Agave Caliente Terraza, a costume contest and a special Agave Caliente Star Wars Cantina, featuring festive items including the Han Burger, Hutt Dog, Padawan Popcorn, Light Saber Pretzel Twists, and more. The evening will also feature the weekly Caliente Country Nights.
On Friday, May 5, for Cinco de Mayo, Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs will all host roaming Mariachi performers across on the casino floors to start the fiesta. At Palm Springs and Cathedral City, catch them roaming from 6-8:30 p.m., while Rancho Mirage will be 5:30 – 8 p.m. Additional entertainment includes folkloric dancers from 4-8:30 p.m. and Revolucion De Amor - Tributo a Maná performing at Agave Caliente Terraza inside of Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City at 7 p.m. This Spanish rock concert sure to get people dancing. Tickets are $10 for standing room only, or free for ACE Club Members.
Regularly scheduled entertainment in the Cascade Lounge at Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs will continue on May 5 with Caliente Comedy at 7 p.m. and Cascade Nights with DJ Gemini Nikki at 10 p.m.
On Saturday, May 6, the excitement continues at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City’s Agave Caliente Terraza with Lucha Libre Mexicana: Viva La Lucha at 7 p.m. General admission seated tickets are $25 when purchased in advance and $30 when purchased the day. Dining and drink specials celebrating the long weekend will be featured at each property. Cinco de Mayo dining specials at Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City will include $5 agua frescas, beef fajitas for $30 and the Jefe Burrito at Café One Eleven for $14. Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City’s 360 Sports will offer a Southwest Steak Wrap for $18 and the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs’ 360 Sports will feature the carne asada with Spanish rice and beans for $14.
