Atlantis installs new state-of-the-art air purification system

Reno, NV – Atlantis Casino Resort Spa has partnered with AtmosAir Solutions, a leading indoor air purification company, to install a state-of-the-art system designed to provide cleaner air for all guests and team members.

AtmosAir Solutions bi-polar ionization (BPI) devices, installed inside the resort’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, continuously neutralize viruses, bacteria and mold while reducing odors and irritating allergens. AtmosAir systems have been utilized by world-class facilities across the country including Houston Methodist Hospital, SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, and New York City’s iconic Empire State Building.

“We have a reputation for offering new and innovative ways to enhance our guest experience,” said Cheraz Ecker, general manager of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. “The addition of this cutting-edge technology is just another example of our continuous commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all our guests.”

Unlike most other air purification systems, the AtmosAir system installed at Atlantis does not produce harmful ozone as a byproduct. This has been tested by AtmosAir and independently verified by The Desert Research Institute, a recognized world leader in basic and applied environmental research.

AtmosAir’s BPI technology has been proven to play a role in reducing the spread of COVID-19. Tests performed by Microchem Laboratory, one of the world’s preeminent laboratories for testing sanitizing products registered by the EPA and FDA, confirmed that the presence of COVID-19 was reduced by 99.92 percent within 30 minutes of exposure to AtmosAir’s BPI technology in a contained space.

“We are delighted to partner with Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada,” said Steve Levine, President and CEO of AtmosAir Solutions. “Safety and wellbeing are key to sustaining confidence in the casino and hospitality industry. Our bi-polar ionization technology adds a significant layer of protection and will give Atlantis Casino Resort Spa guests confidence in the air they breathe by creating a clean and sanitized indoor environment.”

To further improve air quality on the casino floor, Atlantis has made its table games area and new slot machine gaming areas smoke-free.

All Atlantis restaurants, Spa Atlantis, the Race & Sportsbook, Poker Room, Sky Terrace, Atrium Lounge, the entire second floor, fitness center and outdoor pool deck are already designated smoke-free areas. Additionally, 96% of Atlantis guest rooms are smoke-free.
